Projektbeschreibung

The organisation PROINDIGENA helps sensitise the German development cooperation for the needs and perceptions of indigenous peoples.

The main areas in which the rights of indigenous people need to be considered, include democratisation and public administration in the management of natural resources, peace building, conflict prevention, as well as, social developments.

AMBERO strengthens the dialogue between indigenous organisations and state actors (e.g. INDI; INTERT; Gobernación de Boquerón), as well as civil society groups. Indigenous organisations receive advice and training on how to advance their political interests.
