The city of Beira situated on marshy terrain below sea level is especially vulnerable to detrimental effects of climate change. Beira already suffers from extreme weather events, such as cyclones and flooding, that particularly affect the population living in informal settlements.
AMBERO together with its project partner reduces the population of Beira’s vulnerability to climate change effects, particularly in informal settlements.
