Project Manager (f/m/d) for the technical section „Regional and Economic Development“ (Francophone portfolio)

Project Manager (f/m/d) for the technical section „Regional and Economic Development“ (Francophone portfolio)

We are…

… a multicoloured team of young and motivated people dedicated to creating impacts for sustainable development. We are curious, open-minded and love to design solutions for economic and regional development in our partner countries, mainly in francophone Africa, Middle East and Southeast Europe.

What our mission is

We currently implement 17 projects in Algeria, Mali, Senegal, Ethiopia, Iraq and Serbia supporting thousands of young people, women, refugees and marginalized groups to increase their technical and employability skills, find jobs, establish own start up businesses, develop sustainable business plans, get access to social services and land rights, participate in communal planning and resource distribution processes and mediate peace processes or solve conflicts in their communities.

How do we manage this?

We work on behalf of international development agencies such as GIZ, KfW, EU, NUFFIC. We design project concepts, assess the training and skills needs of people and institutions, design curricula and training concepts, train and coach individual persons, small businesses and local institutions. We support the development of markets and value chains, specifically in green businesses, such as solar and other renewable energies, circular waste management, water management or sustainable and innovative agriculture. We support women to get access to land rights and start to use natural resources to create income. We advise vulnerable groups and public authorities to improve refugees and internally displaced people’s access to social services and security. We train enumerators, conflict managers and mediators to support peace building processes at local level. For all our projects we mobilize and steer highly qualified teams of experts and manage a successful project implementation, the achievement of goals and impacts and keep an eye on the proper use of budgets provided by our international clients.
