KfW commissions AMBERO to carry out a portfolio study on Environment and Climate Change Adaptation in Guatemala
Recently, the cooperation between Germany and Guatemala added the focus on environment and Climate change adaptation to its portfolio. To this end, two international and two local experts of AMBERO are carrying out a study on these the respective portfolio in Guatemala in close coordination with BMZ, KfW and GIZ.
Until mid September this study will reveal the particular local challenges in the new area of cooperation as well as potentials and complementary approaches. This information will allow all parties of the German Cooperation a clever positioning and prioritization in order to support Guatemala in the next 5 years to competently and efficiently harmonize climate change, vulnerability, forest and biodiversity conservation, gender and disaster risk management, and to consider new innovative approaches.
