Gender Training for AMBERO employees
On 10 June 2021, AMBERO employees, under strict COVID conditions, participated in an inhouse gender training, focusing on gender approaches and concepts in development cooperation.
With various exercises and freeze frames, they tried to bring the topic closer to examples in their daily working environment and especially project implementation. Topics such as the gender debate, common tools for analysis and comparison with international donors were approached.
The second part of the training focused on a gender-analysis of AMBERO and two case studies from Colombia and Burkina Faso.
The goal of the training was that all employees of the organisation systematically consider Gender even more in their projects and as a consequence act more efficiently and with a universal orientation to gender equality.
