AMBERO will implement the follow-up phase of the OLACEFS project in Colombia

On behalf of the GIZ, the AMBERO-IP Consult consortium is pleased to implement the follow-up phase of the project, Support for the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS).
Our project was successfully implemented through its methodological approach, the instruments used, and the mode of operation, which is embedded in Capacity WORKS. The follow-up phase that starts in April 2013 will focus on further expanding and consolidating OLACEFS’s services. This includes inter alia the integration of the knowledge management concept in OLACEFS’s Internet portal developed during the first phase and in coordination with the Supreme Audit Institutions.
The Latin American and Caribbean Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS) is an independent international organization that offers technical advice, assistance, and coordination for the national Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) in Latin America and the Caribbean. OLACEFS’s goal is to strategically organize countries’ SAIs and to strengthen their capacity to advance good governance, transparency, audits, and anti-corruption. This is achieved through the following activities: networking and expanding the communication between SAIs, setting up knowledge management structures, and developing and implementing capacity development measures.
In this context, the main activities of the consortium were the development of a knowledge management concept, conflict-sensitive organizational consulting, improvement of OLACEFS’s networking and communication, and monitoring and evaluation.
The project’s follow-up phase begins in April 2013 and ends in July 2014.
